WORKSHOP POLICIES
Payments
A deposit is due in advance to reserve your space. A deposit reserves your space when accepted within 48 hours of the deposit. If your deposit is not accepted it will be returned within those 48 hours.
You may ask for a full return of your deposit and any other paid workshop fees up to 90 days in advance of the start date of the workshop. You may cancel your workshop participation prior to 60 days before the commencement of the workshop for a return of 90% of the deposit plus any amount paid over the deposit amount.
Between 60 days and 30 days prior to the commencement of the workshop, any amount paid over 50% of the total workshop fee will be returned to you. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the workshop will not receive a return of payments. However, if all positions are filled for the workshop, cancellations of less than 60 days will be refunded the full amount paid less an administrative and marketing fee of $200.
Travel, Performance, and Uncontrollable Conditions
Should your travel be delayed or cancelled by airlines or other carriers it is your responsibility to get yourself to the location of the workshop at your expense.
Should you become ill prior to or during the workshop which causes you to miss all or part of the workshop, there will not be a refund except under the conditions listed above.
There is no guarantee that you will accomplish the photography goals you set for your trip. You are expected to communicate any needs you have that will help us meet your goals. Please know your equipment well and test any new equipment prior to the workshop.
Participation in this workshop involves interacting with other individuals who may have differing goals, personalities and talents. By registering for the workshop you acknowledge that this may require compromises on your part so that as many goals as possible for the group can be reached and an congenial atmosphere can be maintained.
Should conditions not allow the workshop to visit any or all of the advertised locations, the best alternate locations will be selected. Examples of reasons that might preclude visiting particular locations include, but are not limited to, acts of god, weather conditions, terrorism, government closures, closed roads, and forest fires.
The workshop may be cancelled by the organizers if it is deemed by the organizers that an unsatisfactory experience would occur for the participants due to any of the conditions above. In such a situation, 100% of the paid workshop fee will be returned to the participants. Airfare and other pre and post workshop expenses would not be compensated. Travel insurance is recommended.
