Spirit Water

Rushing water washes away our troubles, refreshes our spirit, renews the soul. Of hundreds of waterfall pictures I have taken, this one gets to my soul the most.

Shifting Course

This falls drops from one side to another as if nature's architect was demonstrating to us how to create an alluring scene. This print is suitable for many locations where you need a vertical composition.

Panther Creek

This beautiful location was closed the first time I tried to access it, due to recent deaths from falls. This view was taken when the falls reopened.

A "postcard" view of Yellowstone Falls with high water flow.

The water falls between a deep divide in the sandstone, where the sides are really not so far apart.

Stop the Car!

We were on the hunt for attractive scenes near Glacier National Park when Barbara shouted, "Stop the car!". It was well worth the hard braking to enjoy and photograph this scene of fall colors with a backdrop of snow covered peaks.

Moss Falls

Water springs from volcanic rocks on this mossy hillside.

Goodbye to Fall

The search for fall colors along along oak creek was finally fulfilled near the end of the day when I discovered this stream side scene.

Ice Tiles

As the waters in the river below subside, ice tiles rupture from the surface, providing our foreground to a fantastic sunrise.

Hidden Falls

We had headed out to photograph an area described in a guide book. Nearby, I discovered this pretty little spot. bypassed by all the tourist busses and other photographers.

Refreshment Stand

A refreshing image that speaks of purity and regeneration.

Colorado from High

Access to the high cliff that overlooks the beginning of the Grand Canyon is a challenge. This rarely photographed perspective looks down on the the mighty Colorado River near where rafters put in for the journey through the canyon.
