Bejeweled

Like jewels on a diva, the buds and blossoms on this saguaro make a statement everyone already knows…”I am queen of the desert.” This blooming saguaro is set against the Galactic Center of the Milky Way. It is most beautiful in the light of night when its minor flaws are hidden by the flattering light.

Navajo Sky

Josef Muench described two sisters protecting the smaller sister before entering the cathedral (Monument Valley). Navajo legend has it a bit different. This image was taken in the early morning hours. Can you see the Dark Horse Nebula?

In His Presence

Alone. I was in the dark. But in His presence. This capture was timed to have the Milky Way properly positioned behind the remains of this 3000 year old tree.

Milky Way at White Pocket
