Photography Portfolio Review

There isn't a quicker way to improve your results than to have a collection of your images reviewed professionally. This can be intimidating in a group setting, although when done this way most professionals will be kind in their comments. Unfortunately, the comments may be forgotten, taken wrong or too brief. 

My reviews do not assume your photography must be like my photography. In fact, I encourage you to develop your own style. They do concentrate on technique, composition, lighting and post processing when used. If there are little details that will help make your image a winner, you will learn how to recognize them and how to correct them either in the field or in post processing.

For newer photographers:

You first send me one image and review it for free! You will receive a report with suggestions. If pleased, you send me 5 or six of your best images over the following 3 months...the ones you are most proud of. I will look at them and decide if I can be of help to you. If I can, I will invoice you $75 for the 2-3 hours I will spend on the review. That is a bargain and if you don't feel like my time and comments are worth it, I will refund your money! Within two weeks, depending on my schedule, I will write up details of everything I see that makes the image good and everything I see that could improve the composition, lighting and post processing. BTW, if you send me images that would win photo contests I will decline to review! This is a one time offer per client.

For more intermediate to early advanced photographers:

Same thing, but I want to see images that you know need help but you aren't sure what is not quite right. Fee is the same, but you will send me all of the images at once and details will be limited to what I know will be of help. Same guarantee! No billing until I see your images and agree that I can help. This is a one time offer per client.

When I guide and time permits my clients have the option of this type of review as part of the trip.
