PHOTOGRAPHY IS A SPORT

Over the Shoulder

Nick Page is a landscape photographer who I admire no end. Not only is his photography gorgeous, he runs one of the finest YouTube channels Ive experienced. He is just a down home, easy going, mans man, a charismatic guy. Everyone wants to be his best friend. But I take exception to a program he produced a few years back titled Photography is NOT a sport”. READ MORE...

BLACK & WHITE DARKROOM PRINTS

Zone System

In a previous article on print choices, I concentrated mostly on prints from inkjet printers or dye sublimation printers. The topic this month is about darkroom prints. The discussion will be confined to black and white prints or toned prints, since there are distinct advantages to color printing by machine. PRINT OF THE MONTH

Island Cottonwood

Every issue will feature a Print of the Month. Most of these will be limited edition archival prints.

ISLAND COTTONWOOD

This scene is a popular photography subject in my hometown of Prescott, Arizona, and I believe mine is one of the best images of this tree ever. The tree currently looks like it may not recover from too little rain and too much wind. If you like black & white photography, you will love this print. It will look fantastic in either of these sizes:

12x18 print in 18x24 mat. Regular $295. Photoboomers price $206.50

8x12 print in 12x16 mat. Regular $175. Photoboomers price $122.50

Larger sized limited edition prints available.

Pricing includes delivery in the U.S.
You must use coupon code BOOM0222 at checkout for these prices. COUPON EXPIRES AT THE END OF THE MONTH.

February Trips Scheduled:

It's cold in Prescott, so I will spend a bit of time around the southern part of Arizona in February and may even make it back to White Sands.

UPCOMING SHOW

I am pleased to have been selected to have a show at Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott from April 18 to May 15 this year. Look for more information in newsletters to come.
