DAY 2 - LEARN TO FOCUS

Camera Focus Points

It is movement of (some of) the lens elements nearer or farther from the sensor that puts our image in focus at a certain distance. This distance is either controlled manually by turning a ring on the lens or automatically by the camera electronics moving the lens via a motor within the lens. If your lens does not have electronic connections, it is only going to focused by the manual method. PURCHASE PRINT OF THE MONTH

April Trips Scheduled:

First week of April, taking a group of Danes to Gold Buttes National Monument. Will revisit Valley of Fire and a few other spots that are convenient. Following week, going to Toroweap and one or two other spots with some photo buddies. The rest of the month I will be concentrating on the gallery show.

GALLERY SHOW THIS MONTH

I will have a selection of works on display at Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott from April 18 to May 15 this year. There will be a private showing on Thursday, April 21, 4-7pm. If you would like to attend this showing and have a glass of wine, please use the contact form to let me know how many you will be attending.  Art Walk is on the Friday, April 22, 5-8pm. No RSVP necessary for that one. I will also provide a link to a virtual show with the May newsletter.

We will be donating 20% of sales made through the show or online during the show (except for the PRINT OF THE MONTH) to CASA for Kids of Yavapai County (AZ). Barbara has been active with this worthwhile organization that advocates for kids who are  neglected or abused.
